Have always felt activist in nature and I know that my songs reflect that. I don’t remember why I wrote “Will we ever see it thru” was there something on the news that sparked it, something said to me which resonated and got me passionate about the state of the world.
In hindsight those years were way simpler than where we find our selves now. The last few years have been bordering on insane and this song “Will we ever see it thru” seems to be so relevant to how myself and many are feeling at this time. Yes, there is a war going on, I fail to understand why, what are the reasons. The media has it’s spin but my activist self doesn’t believe most of what they tell us, about most everything.
Are we all being told / brainwashed into a state of fear, people in fear are easily manipulated and controlled. I do know there are many things that are triggering fear now in our society and most everyone has no idea of what tomorrow will bring. Do I believe there is an agenda of some description going on, yes I do, and I know it is not for the betterment of us all.
When peace and love are discussed, they are most times associated with a Hippie mentality, this alone does my head in, since when has peaceful loving energy been something to be laughed at, discredited and those that want to live with this ideal made to feel judged for doing so. I could truly go on and on about how backwards, fucked up and warped so many things are that are ignored by masses and a small few are getting away with.
In my opinion this crime has been going on for a long time, and I mean centuries not years.
Will we ever see it thru, not sure, I guess in some ways it depends who you ask.
