What's the world comin' to is one of my favorites for sure, I love playing it, love singing it and it just has a good flow to it.
Wrote this one in 1977 so I would have been…….. young.
So as the story goes, I was never the biggest fan of school, and would quite frequently wag (what we called it back then ..basically not attend) and just hang out at mate’s places, the bush, beach, down the street, anywhere but school.
This was a somewhat tricky maneuver as I had to catch the school bus daily.
Any way it was on one of these days that I wrote this song with my best friend at her place. I can clearly remember spending the whole afternoon penning this tune, music and all, with input from Kath. We were both so proud when it was finished and proceeded to sing it most of the afternoon.
It probably does have a simplicity to it due to our age, but I still love it all the same.
Some classic prose that I am still proud of today.

Still so relatable unfortunately.
I have over the years lost touch with Kath and have no idea where she is, which saddens me a little because I know she would be stoked to see ‘our’ song being released.
Apart of my memory of when this song was written, I feel it does have a strong message, we all should never stop questioning, watching and being aware of what is happening in the world.
Not fall into the brainwashing and traps that seem to be constant, but view from a place of curiosity, innocence, compassion and strength. What is written in this song I still hold in my heart today. An end to any and all wars, with peace being the primary goal/want of every being on the planet. Everyone to have what they need to live a happy and fulfilled existence, no greed, hunger, homelessness. So abundance shared.
And if we all did let love shine thru what a truly amazing world this would be.
