What is the Cure, the cure to the worlds ills, to the injustices we find ourselves viewing on a daily basis, in plain sight, that they are not even really trying to hide anymore. We have all been conditioned into living a way that feeds a machine. A machine of Greed, manipulation, inequality and of division. When I wrote this song in the 90s, I am not sure what triggered it, what exactly was going on in the world in that moment of time. It doesn’t seem to matter, as it turns out, it can relate to now, it can relate to any time in the past on some level, the wheels of corruption have been turning for a long time. Every one is walking amongst the trees and in the breeze simply trying to do their best each and every day. We are all hanging on thru the years of the madness that surrounds us.
What is the Cure, I have given this a lot of thought.
Love, love is the cure, pure and simple, Love in all its forms, kindness, compassion for each other, for the earth we stand on, love is the cure, we are the cure when we spread love. Fear feeds the machine, fear is the disease, lets throw some love at that shit and create the change needed to cure the world we find ourselves in.
